Eric Autobee

Department of Corrections Officer

Officer Autobee, age 23, was fatally assaulted by an inmate-worker on October 18, 2002 while working at the Limon Correctional Facility. The inmate was serving a life sentence (no parole), for a 1997 conviction of First Degree Murder. Officer Autobee began his employment with the Colorado Department of Corrections on February 1, 2001.

 

Courage knows no limits. It is not bound by a person’s age or sex or race. Courage is a spirit that is at home in the hearts of brave men and women everywhere.

This book is dedicated to all the brave men and women who serve our society at the risk of making the supreme sacrifice.
