- To unlawfully and intentionally damage, or attempt to damage,
any real or personal property by fire of incendiary device.

- Burglary is defined as the unlawful entry into a building
or other structure with the intent to commit a felony or a
theft. (FBI Uniform Crime Reporting Definition).
Violence - means an act of violence upon a person with
whom the actor is or has been involved in an intimate relationship.
Domestic violence also includes any other crime against a
person or any municipal ordinance violation against a person
when used as a method of coercion, control, punishment, intimidation,
or revenge directed against a person with whom the actor is
or has been involved in an intimate relationship. CRS 12-36-135(a)
Rape - Forcible rape is defined as any sexual penetration
directed against another person (including oral, anal or by
use of an object) against that persons will, regardless
of the victims age. (Colorado Uniform Crime Reporting
Definition). Beginning in 1996, the definition of rape used
by Colorado law enforcement agencies was changed to more closely
match the Colorado Revised Statutes. As a result, the new
definition is broader than the definition used by the FBI.
Therefore, the total number of rape offenses may appear larger
than the national average and the total number of Colorado
statewide offenses reported in prior years.
Crimes - A criminal offense committed against a person
or property which is motivated, in whole or in part, by the
offender's bias against a race, religion, disability, ethnicity/national
origin, or sexual orientation. (FBI Uniform Crime Reporting
- Murder and non-negligent manslaughter are defined as the
willful (non-negligent) killing of one human being by another.
(FBI Uniform Crime Reporting Definition). Not included in
this definition are deaths caused by negligence, suicides,
or accidental deaths. Attempts to commit murder are classified
as aggravated assaults.
Vehicle - A motor vehicle is defined as a self-propelled
vehicle that runs on land and not on rails. Examples of motor
vehicles are automobiles, trucks, buses, motorcycles, snowmobiles,
golf carts, etc. Theft of farm equipment, bulldozers, airplanes,
boats, and construction equipment are not included.
Vehicle Theft - Motor vehicle theft is defined as the
theft or attempted theft of a motor vehicle, including joy
riding. (FBI Uniform Crime Reporting Definition).
- Robbery is defined as the taking or attempting to take anything
of value under confrontational circumstances from the control,
custody or care of another person by force or threat of force
or violence and/or by putting the victim in fear of immediate
harm. (FBI Uniform Crime Reporting Definition).
