Burglary

In 1998, a total of 30,248 burglaries were reported by law enforcement agencies in Colorado.  This is a 2.5% decrease in burglaries from 1997.   Burglaries accounted for 59.2% of the major offenses reported.

Of the 30,248 burglaries reported in 1998, 16,222* were forced entry burglaries, 10,552 were non-forced entry, and 2,435* were attempted burglaries.
